Archival Holdings at British Library of Political and Economic Science (LSE)

The Archives Division of the British Library of Political and Economic Science, the library of the London School of Economics, holds a large collection of records relating to the Inquiry into the Life and Labour of the People of London. The wide sphere of the interests and influence of Charles Booth means that documentary evidence of his life and activities also appears in other collections within the archives. The archives include:

• 452 volumes containing records of interviews and transcriptions of evidence relating to the Inquiry into the Life and Labour of the People of London . [Ref: Booth]
