The Maps Descriptive of London Poverty, 1898-99 created by Charles Booth and his team of investigators working on their survey into life and labour in London (1886-1903) have been digitised, stitched together, and georeferenced by the Booth project at the LSE Library. To find out more about the map click here.

This map is now available for viewing. To help users locate themselves, a modern digital map is also available on the site to be viewed alongside the Booth map. You can search for streets, postcodes, wards, landmarks and parishes and view their location on the maps.
